I am unable to start my Parallels I receive this error:

The virtual machine cannot be started because the hardware virtualization support is disabled on your Mac. Try to restart your Mac. If it doesn't help, contact the Parallels support team for assistance.

I have a mini Mac, Intel Core Dou, version 10.5.8

    My Parallels is 4.0

Please help, I thought I could put to sleep or something of that nature.

I have the same problem. Searched these forums and Apple and have had no luck fixing it using the suggestions. I have Parallels 7.0. Parallels won't start the windows. The parallels window comes up and "click to start windows xp" but then the message: "Your virtual machine may run slow because virtualization support is disabled on your Mac.
For optimal performance, please enable hardware virtualization support in your Mac's firmware." I have tried repairing permissions as well as trying to get parallels to update (says it is up to date, even in safe mode) and it still won't work.

    This is my mac:
