Ola folks...
I'm getting the "Unable to open image Boot Camp" error when trying to open my Boot Camp partition in Parallels. This happened after a month's worth of perfect use. The application kept on bugging me to update, but alas, I was already at build 3188. I "upgraded" anyways after getting annoyed by the message. This killed my ability to run my Boot Camp partition via Parallels. Works great in Boot Camp though. The BC partition disappears from the desktop when it starts to run, then reappears as the error message comes up.
Specs: MBP 2.33 Core 2 Duo running 10.4.9
Boot Camp has XP Pro SP2 installed w/ all updates
BC partition is on same physical drive as OSX and is NTFS.
Parallels is looking @ 0:0 for the partition.
Anyone have a clue? Parallels tech seems to think that Boot Camp is NOT supported even though it's clearly listed as supported here:
http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/ga/features/bootcamp/
I'm confused and would like to use the product as advertised!
Also, here is my .pvs file:
