I've been unsuccessful in getting my XP SP2 guest VM to obtain an IP and do networking except when at home using my Airport base station. I've been out traveling on business this past week and have tried both at various airports, waiting between planes, using ATT WiFi or at my parent's house where they have a wireless base station provided by Qwest. I've read a number of the threads here with users having similar problems. Disabling the 802.1x on the XP IP stack has not worked for me. Any ideas on what I can try would be greatly appreciated.
