I'm trying to install Windows ME, and the drive C that's created has no FAT. As suggested by the Windows setup program, I run FDISK and create a DOS partition, but DIR shows drive C as a ramdisk with only 2 MB capacity. After running FDISK, it shows the drive has 8 GB and is active with an unknown system. When I try to FORMAT drive C, I am told format is not supported. DIR still shows the drive as a 2 MB ramdrive.

I don't know if the failure is the current Parallels (downloaded 2 days ago) or is somehow tied to the Windows ME boot/setup disk I have. I imahgine that I could get ME to install if I could only get an 8 GB drive C: to put it on.

I'm running on a Mac Mini.
