Unable to cast Desktop to Apple TV when Parallels VM is running

Hi,

I am trying to create a scenario where I can share my Mac's display with my Apple TV when Parallels VM is running.

I wish to be able to boot up Windows 8.1 on Desktop 2, then share this with a Apple TV in a presentation.
Currently if I try to-do this, on the Apple TV I see the Parallels - Do you want to share a presentation black popup, and nothing on the Mac Laptop, the VM runs as normal.

I am unable to control the screen thats shown on the Apple TV output.

Has anyone else been able to share a VM via Apple TV.
