Where can I get a student license in the UK? I tried this onthehub.com place, but it said I can't buy it because I am in the UK even though it was showing for £25! I can't afford to pay the full amount, yet can't find any place to get it in the UK.

Hello, unfortunately academic version of Parallels Desktop 6 is distributed by our e-academic partner On The Hub. They distribute the academic software only in certain countries of North American and South American continents.

To find out the list of countries eligible for academic version of Parallels Desktop 6, please go through the following web link:

You should check with yourr local authorized Education resellers if you have anything.

Unfortunately we do not have this information. Please check local software stores in your university.

They don't sell it. So that means I have to pay £40 more compared to the price on onthehub, what a rip off

The basement is the new online store of RM, where students can acquire a wide range of Microsoft software at educational prices. All you need do is register your details and your school on the site and your school can receive cash up to 5% on all purchases.

As long as you buy it on authorized dealer, then it is said that you can avail for a free upgrade. I am not sure if it is indeed an authorized store. So, better check it with Parallels support if they can attest if such store is authorized [IMG]
