Today's Ubuntu 15 TLS update broke the desktop when running in Parallel's 10 on OSX 10.9.5. The toolbar operates at the login screen, but after login the toolbar flashes when clicking the gear menu and it does not paint the popup, tools launch from the toolbar but don't paint their window, etc. It seems to be running the apps and toolbar and is just some kind of painting issue.

Does anybody know what broke and how to either back out of the ubuntu update for fix it? Is there a way from the command line to change the resolution or some settings to get some basic video working so there is a base to hack from other than the command line?

Turning off 3D acceleration seems to make things work again.
