Hi, I had a power outage last night and now when I try to start my (k)Ubuntu VM it hangs right after starting the Parallels Tools daemon. Is there a way to boot up in recovery mode and remove the tools to see if I can then boot the VM? What files need to be removed? Thanks, Rob
Well, it was actually fairly easy to remove the Parallels tools since the CD containing them was being mounted. All I had to do with run the install with '-r'. The only problem was that it didn't fix the hang problem. Instead of hanging right after starting the tools daemon, it now hangs when checking the battery... Rob
