Ubuntu Guest on Windows Vista Host Problem - Parallels Workstation 2.2

    Hello. I'm new to Parallels (giving it a try over VMware) and I'm having problems installing several operating systems as guest on a Windows Vista host. I managed to get my old XP MCE installation to work just fine. Howver, when trying to install Ubuntu 6.10, I get the following problems:

    On boot-up from CD, the screen looks like this which as I recall is different from how it normall looks.

    If I boot normally by pressing enter, the following two errors come up:

    If I go to the advanced menu (F1) and turn off ACPI using the 'acpi=off' command (see below)

    one of the errors goes away but the other one doesn't.

    Ok apparently I'm not patient enough because I just let it go and it seems to have booted just fine. I would just like to know what that PCI error is all about....

    set your ram to no larger then 512.. I have installed multiable Ubuntu's. I'm running 7.04 at the moment.
