I'm running Ubuntu 6.10 in Parallels and it's working great! I'm inside the VM right now, smoothly using Firefox while listening to Ogg Vorbis streaming internet radio, so functionality is excellent. Occasionally, however, it seems a problem occurs with the mouse functionality. Once in awhile, the mouse seems to stop sending button presses to the guest OS. It seems to be associated with brief click-and-drag motions. While this is happening, I can still move the mouse but clicks are no longer registered. Sometimes, the OS X mouse pointer seems to reappear and 'shadow' the mouse inside the VM. Since my VM still seems to be running, I have tried switching to keyboard control when I get this glitch, but there are issues with using the keyboard equivalents also. Parallels' keyboard trapping for its shortcuts seems to prevent me from using the ctrl-option-alt and function keys properly. Some things work, but others don't.

Since I am fairly new to both Parallels and Ubuntu Linux, I'm not sure if these glitches are from Parallels or inside the Ubuntu desktop. Has anyone else experienced these issues?
