    Hi there,
    I can't get above version of Parallels to run. My config: AMD64 Athlon (HP Pavillion w5000), "uname -r": 2.6.15-27-amd64-generic
    When entering (as root) "parallels-config" getting error "Can not compile and/or link drivers." Please see attached error report (comp.log.6145.error.txt).

    Any help is very much appreciated
    Kind regards
    meikel

    PS: I did install below:
    apt-get install linux-headers-`uname -r`
    apt-get install gcc
    apt-get install libc6-dev
    apt-get install make
    apt-get install gcc-3.4
    apt-get install libstdc++5
    apt-get install libqt3-mt
    apt-get install build-essential libqt3-mt

    It looks very much like you are running a 64 bit OS. If this is the case, then sadly, you will not be able to make it work. At this stage Parallels is not 64 bit compatable.
