    Situation:
    Deployed Ubuntu 24.04 via Vagrant:
    Vagrant.configure("2") do |config|
    config.vm.box = "bento/ubuntu-24.04"
    Parallels tools set to install on provisioning. After coming up, it works fine. You can reboot the VM and there are no issues at all. However, if you do an apt upgrade, these packaged are installed:

    Code:
    he following NEW packages will be installed:
      linux-image-6.8.0-45-generic linux-modules-6.8.0-45-generic linux-modules-extra-6.8.0-45-generic
    The following upgrades have been deferred due to phasing:
      apparmor libapparmor1 libproc2-0 open-vm-tools procps systemd-hwe-hwdb ubuntu-pro-client ubuntu-pro-client-l10n
    The following packages will be upgraded:

    After packages are upgraded AND rebooting, parallels tools is non functional. I cannot get to the VM via prtlctl enter <VM> and all the mounted shares in the guest are disconnected. I tried using the GUI to reinstall, but it did not work. I had to go into /usr/lib/parallels-tools and manually run ./install and reboot afterwards.

    Do I need to manually install parallels tools after every apt upgrade?
