    Hi,

i am experiencing problems using my internal iSight on a MacBook Pro for Video with Skype under Ubuntu 10.04. I connected the camera to the virtual machine via the devices menu. The device shows up as /dev/video0 in Skype but I don't get any image from the camera, when I click the Test button.

The camera works perfectly with other applications like Cheese.

Can anyone give me a hint why Skype isn't able to use it? Where can I get more information to get to the root of this problem? Which log-files should I look at? I already started Skype via a terminal, but it doesn't produce any output on stdout or stderr.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!
    Markus
