Since the new MacBooks and MacBook Pro 17" both have the ability to simulate a right click by holding two fingers on the trackpad and clicking the button, is it possible to do this with Parallels Desktop? Even though I have a 15" MBP, which can do two-fingered scrolling and should therefore eventually be able to do two-fingered right clicking, I've tried it on both of the machines that do support the feature and I find it's incredibly easy to do and is very reliable. It's much easier than holding down the control key or some other modifier. Can this be implemented in Parallels Desktop? This is my very first post and have to say that what is there right now is very impressive. I quickly placed an pre-order for it after trying it for about a week. Thank you for a very nice product.
It dosen't have to be implemened by Parallels. Since OS X passes the right-click to Parallels, and Parallels passes it to the virtual machine, it just works.
For anyone that doesn't have one of the latest MBP's with the double-tap right click feature, someone has worked out how to install it. They've released an installer/uninstaller. Here's the thread: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=17685&st=60 And the direct download: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=2834 I'm using it on my 15" MBP and so far no issues... and it works GREAT with Parallels!
