Turning "resume" feature off, PD7 on Lion

This so called *feature* (among a bunch of other *features* added in Lion such as Autosave and Versions) is simply killing me. Resume being the most annoying one. Never understood why developers are supporting those crazy apple ideas in their products without giving user an option to opt out. A simple checkbox in Preferences will do just fine! </rant>

OK, now the question itself. Does any one know a way to turn the damn "resume" off in PD7? I don't want it to reopen my last used VMs! I managed to at least force it to not automatically start the previously used VMs, but can't prevent it from opening the VM's windows. Still it reopens the VM's windows on the next start whatever I had running in previous session. A .plist setting or anything?
