Trying along side Fusion, can I migrate

I want to create a new Parallels virtual machine that is bigger then my Fusion Virtual machine and then import the fusion machine without changing it so I can try Parallels before giving up on Fusion. I see all kinds of instructions on how to import from a PC (which I assume won't change the PC at all) but I can't find how to import from a fusion virtual. help???
