    Hi,

I am new to this, so please excuse me if it has been answered before. I couldn´t find anything using the search. Is it possible to run Win 98 SE with more than 16 colors?

    All the best,

    Malte

Yes, with PW tools installed, you can run 16-bit or 24-bit color.

Installing the tools does solve the resolution problem, but I'm then stuck with the following error every-time Win 98 boots:
The PARALLELSTOOLCENTER.EXE file is linked to missing export SHELL32.DLL:SHGetFolderPathA
Eventually I deleted the above file to stop the error message. Can anyone from the Parallels team please advice? I've tried re-installing the tools, but it always seems to get stuck at the end of the installation. I've also re-installed Win 98 2nd edt, but with the same results.

I don't mean to offend anyone, but I think everyone should read the documentation completely at least once before getting right onto using a product, instead of calling themselves ignorant and ask for a quick help. There's a whole chapter devoted to Parallels Tools in there! :)

BTW, look under 'VM' menu.. you should find 'Install Parallels Tools'.
