I tried installing vista ultimate over xp running on build 3188 of parallels. Everything was fine until it got to the upgrading part (last step) around 30% and then I got a screen on the mac showing that I need to restart my computer by holding down the power button. It wasnt a windows message but a mac message and I couldnt do anything but reboot. I did figuring I needed to and I had to start parallels back up. I assumed it would continue from where it left off but instead it said upgrade could not be completed and was resorting back to a previous version of windows.

    All that time for nothing!

anyone have an idea of what could have caused this? I would hate like heck to try all over again and same thing.

Im using a mac mini 1.66 with 1 gig ram.
