Trial of 6 side by side with 5?

Is it possible to run the trial of version 6 while leaving my (licensed) version 5 installation alone? I'd like to test it out to see if it's worth upgrading.

I'm intersted too about testing P6 in combination with my P5 !!!

Or, maybe, i ccan install P6 over P5, and when trial expire, i can downgrade to my P5 without problems?

 

I think the hdd files are the same for 5 and 6 but the pvm files are not. You should back them up just in case. You can't install 5 and 6 side by side because 6 will uninstall 5 and uses the same locations for it's files. You can downgrade afterward (use the uninstaller on the 6 dmg) but may need to revert to your backed up pvms.
