I've tried upgrading to both 3170 and 3186 and both times the Hotsyncing of my Treo650 stops working. The only build it's worked perfectly for me has been 3150 (RC2).

Is there a setting I missed in 3186 to allow USB devices like the treo to be seen? If I enable auto connect (or connect the device manually) Windows does it's little noise, but for some reason it just doesn't sync up with the palm.

Heck 3150 even works with PDA Reach which allows you to use your palm on the desktop, but ONLY 3150. :)

    Anyone?

My Treo 600 is working fine both in OS X and in Windows. If I need to connect to Windows I set up the USB to auto-connect. I normally leave this off. I then connect the cable to the computer and to the phone. So far neither OS X nor Windows sees the phone. When I push the Hotsync button on the cable, Windows immediately grabs the connection and opens the hotsync application.

If I don't have the USB configured to auto-connect, then OS X will launch the Mac version of the hotsync tool and the phone will still sync except for images.

The first time I tried to sync to the vm, XP saw there was new hardware attached and installed the appropriate drivers. Since Build 3150 this has worked perfectly.
