Transporter issues

I have Parallels, running Windows XP, on my old MacBook Pro. I want to migrate it to my new MacBook Pro - how do I do it? I've run the Transporter app but it ends up saying "There was an error". Do I need to have Parallels installed on the new computer?

Which is the "Source" computer, the old one or the new one?

Old Computer: 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo, Parallels 4.0.3848.450204
New computer: 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
