I had a PC die on me but the boot drive survived. My nice shiny new MBP is my "new PC". I'd like to transport from the previously internal drive from my old PC. I have a case and can mount the drive via the USB2 port and it shows up on the Mac. I'm sure this kind of migration, where only the drive is available, is common enough to make the feature appeal to quite a few people, so thought I'd put in a "wish". thanks Andy
