I've been installing and tweaking a pretty substantial amount of software to my Windows VM running under Parallels Desktop 13 on a MacBook running macOS 10.12.6.

It's possible that in a year or so I'll be upgrading to a new MacBook. When this happens, is there an easy way to transfer my existing Windows VM? Or am I going to have to reinstall Windows and all my Windows software from scratch? It would certainly be vastly easier to transfer the VM, though off the top of my head I'm not sure how that'd work if there are hardware differences in the two MacBooks.

You can easily transfer the virtual machine from your old Mac to the newer.

Thanks! That's great to know that the process is so simple.
