What is the best way to do this? I have tried with my thumb drive...PC side wants to format the thumb drive. I know that I could burn all the data on a cd, but that is a pain. Dragging and dropping doesn't work like in Virtual PC. How can I move data from from the Mac side to the PC side?

    1. Make sure PW is NOT running.
    2. Locate the .HDD file.
    3. Now, use Finder to rename it from .HDD to .DMG. Finder will confirm that you really want to change the type.
    4. Double-click the newly renamed DMG file. Finder will mount the file as a new OS X volume.
    5. Copy files into volume. Remember this is a FAT file system, so it's 8.3 upper case filenames only!
    6. Eject the volume.
    7. Rename the DMG file back to .HDD; finder will ask for confirmation again.
    8. Start PW and boot the VM. You should see all your files!

This worked for me, just fine.

    Paul.

    Sharkus,
Could you explain that in more detail? On the Mac side, I have Personal File Sharing set up in System Preferences. What else do I have to do?
