Hello, I would like to share a simple trick that many are not aware of and that is of particular use with the Windows 11 taskbar. If you _pin_ your ten most used programs on taskbar in your preferred order, they will remain in that order always. If you then press windows-(NUMBER), you will open the app that has that specific place on the taskbar. Soon you will know which number is what program. If you hold down WIN and press the pertaining number repeatedly, you can move through the windows of THAT particular app and open the one you want. If you hold down WIN AND SHIFT you can move backwards withing the list of windows of that app. If you happen to be editing the same files in the same app all the time, it helps to open them in alphabetical order. Windows will then memorize that and a.... .txt will appear leftmost and z.... rightmost, within the row of windows of that app.
