In Parallels Desktop for Mac, the Virtual Machines List seems to embrace form over function. I don't need or want a large label and icon for every VM; I just need a simple listing of the VMs I'm currently using. In fact, I'd prefer a menu item (under Window, say) to provide a dropdown list of available VMs. That would be far handier than the honkin' big window currently offered. - John Norris, Trinity Technology Services, Duke University
