Please help. I just deleted my version of Parallels for Mac due to a crash. I had to reinstall OS10 and all is working except Parallels. I deleted the original version of it and even though it is completely gone (trash bin too), when I try and install it again, I get a warning that I am installing an older version of it and would I like to continie. When I say yes and click install, I get the message "You cannot continue. There is nothing to install.".
    I'm baffled by this.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.

Do you know which version you are trying to install? Could it be an old version?

One thing to try would be to get the current version from the Parallels website and install that. Your key should still work.

That advice applies only if you are in the US. Let us know if you are in a different country.

    Just do the following:

    1. Uninstall Parallels Desktop usin the uninstaller.
    2. Open /Library/Receipts folder and delete Install Parallels Desktop.pkg
    3. Reboot Mac
    4. Install Parallels Desktop
