Parallels as an organization should make a balance of this year in terms of what went wrong. We have at least two situations where Parallels came short:

    1. XP SP3 and Vista SP1 compatibility earlier this year.

    2. PDM 3 to 4 Virtual machine conversion

There's also some withstanding issues that should be adressed:

    3. keeping Parallels Tools updated for the latest Linux distros (specifically Xorg compatibility)

    4. Customers feel that v4 represents the features they where promised in v3.

Point 1 and 2 represent major flops in terms of software release, quality control and customer satisfaction.
In point 1 Parallels failed to release a compatible builg prior to SP3 going public (Apple and VMWare managed to made their releases before SP3 was out).
In point 2 there seems the product was rushed out with a very fast pace of RC releases after a more slow paced Beta cycle.

    Parallels, get your act together.

Hello, the VM conversion goes fine now, we have released the hotfix.
"4. Customers feel that v4 represents the features they where promised in v3." - what exactly?
