Thanks for 2.2.2222 / Ubuntu Support!

Yesterday I discovered that 2.2.2222 was available, so tried it immediately.

Thank you SSSOOO much for officially supporting Ubuntu 7.04 and 7.10!!!

This build indeed works well on Ubuntu 7.04. VM performance seems to have increased slightly since 2.22.2204.

Could Parallels consider some sort of notification list to registered clients to inform us when new builds are available? It was over a month before I discovered 2.2.2222 was available.

I was not referring to "Check for Updates" rather requesting the creation of an email list that Parallels could use to broadcast a message when a new version is released.

I would much prefer to receive an email than any other type of update notification. "Push communication" rather than "pull"... having to click "Check for Updates"... "No, still nothing..." I do not like that sort of thing.

 

Mdlueck, we appreciate the feedback from you. We'll try to use e-mail notifications more often to inform subscribed customers of new releases.
