Terrible drag and drop performance on v12 (win10pro64)

Ever since I upgraded to Parallels 12, my dragging and dropping windows is incredibly sluggish and unusable sometimes. It lags behind a good second or more. So I constantly have to hold and slowly drag the window because if I move to fast, it gets real sluggish and over-reacts the placement of the window. I also have to continue to click and hold until the sluggishness catches up or else sometimes the window disappears altogether or other times it jumps around the screen to a new destination. Dragging icons does the same thing as moving windows around. I have tried turning off vsync, but other than that, I'm not sure what other things to try (don't see much in the settings to change besides vsync).
