Tell macOS to forward deep links for certain apps to parallels

I am having this issue that I have deeplinks to a windows app on my Mac. If I click the link and choose parallels to handle that link it works fine but I am unable to tell macOS to always handle specfiicappname://whatever with parallels.
Anyone got any idea how I tell macOS to always forward specfiicappname://whatever to parallels?
