I generally use Coherence mode full time, with the taskbar situated at the top of the screen so that it shows beneath my OS X menubar. For the last several weeks I'm seeing an intermittent problem where the Windows taskbar manages to get itself *underneath* the OS X menubar. Switching Parallels into windowed mode and back to Coherence resolves the problem, but it's an annoyance which seems to be becoming more frequent. Is this a known bug? And is there a target release for resolution? Thanks, Tom
I'm attaching a screen capture of the issue for reference. Note the small bit of the Windows taskbar visible beneath the OS X menubar. It's important to note that this is Windows XP, just skinned to look like Vista.
Hello, Please right click on windows task bar and make sure that lock task bar option is unchecked. Then drag and drop windows task bar to bottom of the screen. After that you can right click on task bar again and lock it in this position. In this position windows task bar and Mac Menu top bar will not overlap.
Thanks for the reply, but I don't want the taskbar at the bottom of the screen. The fact that it works most of the time at the top of the screen suggests that this is a bug. Please let me know when resolved and I will test again.
