When I try and create a new VM (using wizard) it tells me the directory (/Users/me/Library/Parallels/winxp/winxp.pvs) does not exist and would I like to create it. I say yes and it then errors saying "Target directory cannot be created. Please check you have enough free space and have the proper access permission." This account has admin rights and I have 160GB free. Anyone any suggestions why Parellels can't seem to write to its own folder (this is a re-install after the last Beta crashed so badly it wouldn't start again.) Machine has been rebooted, but that makes no difference. Thanks in anticipation,
