Taking a screenshot of another desktop or VM no longer works after upgrading to MacOS 15

Hello! I'm used to take screenshots (via Capture Area tool) inside my Win11 VM. After upgrading to MacOS 15, switching the desktop deactivates the Capture Area controls. Is there a way to fix?

I run my VM in full screen as a separate desktop, so I normally change the desktop to MacOS, activate the Capture Area tool, switch desktop back to VM, and capture the screenshot. After upgrade, controls to capture disappear after moving to another desktop.
