So here's a crazy thought. I noticed somebody else in this forum saying that true partitions (rather than virtual disks) are on the roadmap. If you have a true partition...wouldn't it be possible to boot from it? Especially if there was an option in parallels that did the following: 1. Automatically hibernate whatever OS is running inside it 2. Automatically hibernate OSX 3. Reboot into the OS that was running in Parallels (a la Boot Camp) That way, I could run XP inside OSX, or run XP straight if I wanted to play games or do something else that isn't suited to Parallels. I wouldn't have to have both Boot Camp and Parallels, two copies of XP, and two XP licenses all on the same computer.
