Ben- when you say you want the 'system to close', which system are you referring to? The two actions have concrete meanings: Suspend freezes the guest OS such that when resumed, it will continue running as it was. Like Hibernate or Sleep mode on many computers. Stop completely shuts down the guest OS which will need to boot up the next time it is used. I cannot say which solution you want, because your explanation is unclear.
