I am using Parallels 2.2 beta on Suse 10.1. Installation was no problem. But the guest system WIN XP makes no sound (despite it says there is a card). The Serial Port is not usable. System claims, it is used by another process in host system (but I dont have that problem with VMware-Server which I try also). Third problem is, that the usb-Device allways stays empty, no matter which usb-devices I connect (this problem also occurs with VMware-Server). Therefore I can´t use the printer.
    Any suggestions? Would be nice.

Can't help you since i am having the same problem with sound in suse 10.1.

The sound problem is not limited to suse as the host but is also present when I install parallels 2.2 beta in pclinuxos and suse 10.0.

Parallels 2.1 works fine and has sound in all the above os.

On the plus side, i really like the shared folders!

I'm evaluating 2.2 right now and have encountered the same here with Suse 10.1--no usb and no sound. Would like some word from the developers regarding these issues--any fix in progress? Would be willing to buy the product if so.

I have the same problem and it seems its not only suse 10.1 as host that is affected. Last night i installed parallels 2.2 on a different computer running xandros v4 with windows xp as guest and the problem remained, no sound.
