Does the "Workstation Extreme" product support operation on non-Quadro nVidia GPUs (e.g. a GTX295)? As in not whether it's a "supported" configuration, but will it work? Or rather, is there any particular reason (e.g. a missing feature in non-Quadro GPUs) why it won't work? Has anyone tried it?

Are there any plans to support ATI GPUs in this way?

I'm trying to get away from dual-booting between Windows and Linux, and this seems like it would be a decent alternative, but I am also an ATI user (mainly due to nVidia's crypto-lockout of non-nVidia pre-Nehalem motherboard chipsets from SLI in their drivers), and trading in my 2x 4870X2 setup for a 1x GTX295 is something I would very much prefer to avoid.
