I am running Outlook 2013 under Windows 7 on my MacBook Air (last year's model). I have the latest version of parallels. It seems to be a little on the slow side - are there any specific recommendations for improving the speed of an application? Thanks.
I have 4 GB in my Air. I see in the configuration that 1GB is allocated and the recommended bar goes up to 1.5 GB. So I have moved it to 1.5 GB. Also, I already have performance set to "Faster Virtual Machine" - Power to "Performance" and Tune Windows for Speed checked. Anything else I can play around with? I mostly use the Windows for Outlook 2013 which appears to be a bit of a dog anyway.
Bumping this. The speed of my Windows partition has gotten progressively slower (or so it seems) over the last couple of months. I have not changed any of the settings until the above post. Is there something I can do to increase it? I am not expecting it to be blinding fast - but I was using Notepad++ today and the system was about half a line behind my typing! Thanks.
