I am running Outlook 2013 under Windows 7 on my MacBook Air (last year's model). I have the latest version of parallels. It seems to be a little on the slow side - are there any specific recommendations for improving the speed of an application? Thanks.

How much RAM do you have in your computer and how much have you allocated to the VM?

I have 4 GB in my Air. I see in the configuration that 1GB is allocated and the recommended bar goes up to 1.5 GB. So I have moved it to 1.5 GB. Also, I already have performance set to "Faster Virtual Machine" - Power to "Performance" and Tune Windows for Speed checked. Anything else I can play around with?

I mostly use the Windows for Outlook 2013 which appears to be a bit of a dog anyway.

Bumping this. The speed of my Windows partition has gotten progressively slower (or so it seems) over the last couple of months. I have not changed any of the settings until the above post. Is there something I can do to increase it? I am not expecting it to be blinding fast - but I was using Notepad++ today and the system was about half a line behind my typing! Thanks.
