I recently moved my OSX drive onto an Accelsior card in my Mac Pro. I also cloned my Bootcamp Windows 7 onto an SSD drive, but kept my virtual machines on a Raid0 HDD. I have two virtual machines; one on the Raid0 HDD array, and one on the SSD. The one on the SSD also is used in Bootcamp.

I did all of this for speed, and it is indeed faster at everything, that is except starting up Parallels Desktop 8. Back when it was all on my Raid0 array, it was an instant start of Parallels. Today it takes a few seconds, even 20-30 seconds sometimes. That is just for the list of virtual machines to pop up. What's going on?

Once I select one of the virtual machines it is all faster than before, especially the virtual machine on the SSD.
