stuck on launcher

    I am able to run parallels and then I get the chooser to choose which Windows hard drive I want to run. Then I get the black screen with the Windows logo in the center, yet the start button is dim. So are the suspend and shut down. I can't even reset from the menu.

    Does anyone have any suggestions? It
