Stuck on "boot from hard drive"

    I installed Parallels on a MacBook Pro, then I installed Windows XP Pro. It brought up the Parallels screen after downloading, but when I click "play" it flips over to the virtual machine to a black startup screen that says "boot from hard drive." Am I missing a step?

    Me, too!

    I came here looking for an answer to the same problem. Did anyone have an answer? I am going to try uninstalling and reinstalling.
