    I was just wondering why a subscription is far more expensive in the long run, compared to one-time-purchase (or am I getting the numbers wrong?).

    New license is 99,99 €
    Upgrade 49,99 €
    Subscription is 79,99 €

    Let's do the math, assuming there is a new major Parallels release once a year, like in the past.
    Year 1: 99,99 vs. 79,99 -> subscription is 20 € cheaper
    Year n: 49,99 vs. 79,99 -> subscription is 30 € more expensive, for each year 0_o

    And how can it be, that I can use the Pro upgrade version vor 49,99 €/year?
    So basically, I just have to purchase Parallels once, and then go for the Pro version which is then cheaper than the Desktop version?

    I'm kinda confused o_0
