Stop VM HD from mounting on Mac desktop?

    As the Parallels Desktop® User's Guide says on p. 154, "You can also share the Windows virtual machine
    disk volumes with Mac OS X - they will be mounted on the Mac OS X Desktop."

    Is there any way to turn off this feature?
