A longtime Parallels Desktop user, I recently upgraded from PD11 to PD13. I've recently been experiencing an issue that I've never come across before. I often switch out of my Windows VM using the OS X app switcher (Cmd-Tab). Once I've finished whatever it was I needed to do in one or more OS X apps, I again use the app switcher to switch back into my Windows VM. What I'm finding is that sometimes when I do this, the Windows Ctrl key functionality is "stuck" on when I land back in the Windows VM, so that any key I press will function as though I had simultaneously pressed Ctrl and that key (e.g. if I press the "v" key, Windows responds as though I had pressed Ctrl + v). This behaviour continues until I hit the Ctrl key once, which seems to "unstick" it. As I said, this doesn't happen every time I switch back into the VM from OS X; so far, I haven't been able to identify any pattern as to when it occurs and when it doesn't. What I can confirm, however, is that it doesn't occur if I switch back into the VM by manually clicking inside the VM (which runs in its own space on a second monitor); it only happens if I switch back into the VM using the OS X app switcher. EDITED TO ADD: the same behaviour has just occurred upon switching back to the VM by manually clicking inside it. I guess I hadn't seen this occur before for the simple reason that I almost always use the OS X app switcher to switch back to the VM. Anyone else encountered this issue? Any suggested fixes? Running Windows 7 Home Premium under PD13 on a late 2015 iMac.
