Start Menu location when OS X dock is set to auto-hide

Discussion in 'Parallels Desktop for Mac' started by Parallels User, Jun 8, 2007.

  1. My OS X dock is currently set to auto-hide. When I click on Parallel's Start Menu icon in the OS X dock (in coherence mode), the Vista Start Menu shows up just fine, but its bottom edge appears at the bottom of the screen, not at the top of the dock. Therefore the lower part of Start Menu is hidden by the OS X dock.

Is there a way to have the start menu appear above the OS X dock when the OS X dock is set to auto-hide?

I am using Parallels Desktop v3 with Vista Business on a boot camp 1.2 partition.

Thanks & keep up the great work,
    D.

while we're on that topic, i thought it would be kinda neat to be able to have the dock stacked above the taskbar.
