Spyware Infection on Virtual XP :-(

Hi friends,
Im so frustraded with my virtual machine, as soon as I boot up xp it freezes up and hangs with thousands of pop ups from spyware and malware, I am unable to do anything, I even tried installing kaspersky security from parallels but it doesn't go because of the viruses. I tried booting up the virtual machine on safe mode but doesn't go. I know some ways to get around on native machines, not on virtual machines. Any help pls?
