Sony Vegas opens automatically

    Can someone please tell me how to change the preferences so that when I download mp4s, Vegas will not open the file? I use Quicktime for viewing and not vegas. Vegas is for editing only.

    find mp4s file in Finder, right click > Get info > Open With (Quicktime) > Change all

    For the newly downloaded mp4s,please right click>properties>change open with to Quicktime > apply. And immediately the file format opening with will change for all the other mp4s
