Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit guest OS with Parallels 14.1.3 (45485). Since the update to MacOS Mojave 10.14.4 (from 10.14.3) some (graphics intensive?) applications (Chrome, IE, Slack, etc) in the Windows VM became to be pretty much unusable: Moving their windows or trying to scroll or select menus in them took up to 5-10 seconds for each operation/drag/click/redraw (during which the UI was completely hung/non-responsive). However at the same time I saw no evidence of increased CPU usage anywhere (in the host or in the VM). After trying various options (e.g. the hypervisor changes suggested by some in the "High CPU usage on disk access since update to Mojave 10.14.4 ?" thread, the change that "fixed" my issue was to completely disable 3D acceleration for my VM:
