Hello I have a problem changing the language between two local languages input when I'm using 2X application mode. for example: if I run outlook and open a new message and then try to press alt+shift to change the language, the system does not repspond and it seems it's getting "stuck" on one language. This occurs not only in office apps, but also in other apps, such as Sap Management. I tried almost everything: 1. logging with admin credentials. 2. first logging with the domain user in a Remote Desktop Connection(btw, when I logged to full desktop option, there was no problem, only when I run a specific application. 3. I tried this also : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322042 I saw some people in this forum writing about the same problem, but I didn't see any response. I wonder if this is a 2X bug, or there is a very simple solution. I'm using 2003 Server R2, my clients use Windows XP on their workstations, and I tried installing even the latest 2X ver (5.0) Please let me know if I can solve this. Thanks
well, I spoke with Sergei Zibarov from 2X, and the solution is very simple but not perfect. What you should do is to restore the language bar in the RDP full desktop mode, and when you run another app. such as Outlook, you will be to see the language bar pops up and also to change the language. As I said not a perfect solution, but still a solution. You should NOT nor your clients and I repeat NOT minimize the language bar if you want them to be able change the language. Again thanks for Sergei. Eran
as variant, try to "turn off advanced text services" in "Advanced" Tab of "Text Services and Input Languages"
